10.00am - METTA MEDITATION SESSION ( 5 minutes )

10.45am - BUDDHA PUJA ( mid - day offering )

11.00am - Sanghika Dana ( Lunch for monks )

11.00 am – 1.10 pm - BISDS Presentation ( Session 1 ) - Coloring, Singing, Dances, Competition, Sketch

Felicitation Ceremony - VEn. K. Sri Dhammaratana Nayaka Maha Thera
 
A Felicitation Ceremony was held in honour of the new Chief Sangha Nayaka of Malaysia, Ven. K. Sri Dhammaratana Nayaka Maha Thera on 22nd September 2007.

The event was graced with the presence of over 60 Sangha members from the various traditions i.e. Theravada, Mahayana and Vajyrayana.

This event was also officiated by Ven. Niyangoda Vigithasiri, Anunnayaka Maha Thero of Malwatte Chapter of the Syamopali Maha Nikaya, Y.B Dato Seri Ong Ka Ting , Ministrer of Housing and Local Government, The Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia Mdm. Shanika Dissanayake, Mr. W.J.M Lokubandara, M.P Speaker from the Parliament of Sri Lanka and other VIP’s such as Dato’ A. Vaithilingam, President of MCCBCHST, Mr. Tilak Leslie Jayawardena, President of Sasana Abhiwurdhi Wardhana Society, Dato’ Chee Pek Kiat, Hon. Secratary of the Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia as well as presidents and devotees of Buddhist societies from all over Malaysia.

1 Year Memorial Ceremony - 31 August 2007
 
31st August 2007, marked the first year memorial of the passing away of Ven. Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda Nayaka Maha Thera.

To commemorate the day, special events were launched in his memory which included the relaunch of the K Sri Dhammananda website followed by the launch of the Buddhist Pali University Diploma Course at the Buddhist Maha Vihara. It was then followed by the pledge to publish one million Free Buddhist Booklets by year 2012 and then the awarding of the educational grants to 89 deserving students.
