In Buddhist countries, the Full Moon day is a holiday for devotees to dedicate the day for religious activity such as observing Eight Precepts, meditating and performing charitable work. You can also do these at the Buddhist Maha Vihara or attend a Puja at 7.30 pm on these religious days followed by a short Dhamma talk.
